Week 90:Elder Young keeping the mission running

I took all these pictures in the office. 

Vergilio!!!!!!! He got baptized after we had had a millions lesson together. He said he wanted me to baptize him because I was the most "persistant." We ate lunch with him the day before I left. It was one of the sweetest experiences of my mission. 

Angel Fernandez got sent home for something in his eye. Elder Thornock and I waited in the hospital for his procedure. 

Week 88:Elder Young and his last change serving in the mission office

We are going to baptize on the 13th of this month Vergilio, a man from Amolonga will be baptized. What a blessing that is. I have two more changes left in the mission and this last change (as recently confirmed by changes) marks the beginning of what will end as 6 whole months serving by president's side in the office. I took advantage of my last testimony to the new that came in yesterday. I poured my soul out to them mentioning that  we should never marvel that all men must be born again. I exhorted them to let that change happen. Let the natural man be killed and submit to the Lord. I ended up as some of my dear friends (who were in the meeting as trainers) had said; to be very riveting and memorable. Regardless of its impact on others, I felt the spirit as I delivered my testimony. The spirit has sustained my testimony recently. I've had the great opportunity to go to the temple twice this week. I go all the time now and can feel revelation there without fail. I feel like an emperor conquering spiritual territory and making each new temple of God my own land. I have built my house on the sure rock of the scriptures, the churches, the law and the prophets, the temples, etc.. and it will be all the much harder for me to all (imagine how short the destruction of the Nephites would have been with only one structure).

Week 89:Elder Young at the Quetzaltenango temple with Pedro

We went to the temple with Pedro

We found him because he decided to go to church and then decided to go to Huehue. He came back and I was still there in a month: we met and invited him to be baptized after about 4 lessons and he agreed for the week that followed. He is amazing and always visits with us. This Saturday we are going on visits actually. He loved conference. He is a true convert.
