Well, it's been harder to keep a journal without my trusty alpha-smart but I did write everything down on paper. The sad thing is I forgot to bring the paper to the Internet cafe, so this week is all from memory now. Anyway, it was a great week. We found some great people to teach by some very miraculous ways. I've learned tons of stuff.
We had a baptism last week and Walter and Marlen will be baptized this Saturday (and married the same day, I hope nothing crazy happens like always haha). And Ana will be baptized soon I hope and we found a family of 8!!!! Carmen, Elias, Christian, Everlinda, Sergio, Marcos, Diego and Jennifer and the husband who lives in Guatemala.
Diego and Marcos came to church and this week we shared a video with them and we are bringing members with them every day to help them get together and feel awesome at church. WE are working really hard with them. I love them more than words can describe. Please, pray for them by name, I want them all to be baptized.
And also please pray for Flor to be baptized next month as well as Belisario and Reyna if they all get better. Also Wilvi should be baptized soon, as well as Angel, a man I found buying bananas from a tienda and just mentioning the gospel. Also Henry said he wanted to be baptized too. That should be fun--he is really addicted to a lot of substances so It's hard to find him sober.
There are also a handful of others with whom we are working, it should be a great change. We've seen just miracle after miracle. It's quite fun you know. The ward is growing.
One of the hardest questions, however, to answer this week was: "The members of your church go to the movies and buy things on Sunday so why do you expect me to keep the Sabbath holy before being baptized?" I didn't know what to say. I just said it's sad that some members don't live the gospel to the full extent, but that's just how it is. Don't look at them, instead look to Jesus Christ for your example.
I bought a four-combination scripture set in Spanish so now I have one in English and one in Spanish. Which is fun.
Great area. Great work. Baptisms are coming with faith as a forerunner.
Love you all, thanks for your prayers and faith in my behalf.
